I accidentally came upon this video, which was originally posted by Vice on June 29th. It's a documentary entitled, "The Youth: POST RADICAL and it covers a non-profit high school in Sweden that focuses its curriculum around skateboarding. Just like any other art-influenced school, the students seem more engaged because their education is imbued with something they're actually passionate about: skateboarding.
From Sweden, they travel to Ethiopia where skateboarding isn't as popular and is "just coming to life" as the video's narrator explains. The video goes on to explore skateboarding among the youth in other places around the world as well. Check out the full video below.
